I realize that I’m looking down in most of these pictures, but the chilly breezes of March (and now April) have replaced the snow piles and my hair was flying EVERYWHERE! Thank goodness for the warmth my utility jacket provided! While it might be considered a “fall weather” item, I think that spring is the perfect time for utility jackets to make a return.

Utility jackets are seasonally versatile and lightweight (compared to heavy winter coats) while providing just enough protection from the breezy spring time elements; and they’re earth-toned colors also add a casually functional vibe to any day-time outfit. I spotted this multi-pocketed utility jacket on the Clymb and I couldn’t resist—it features snap closures, a drawstring cinch waist, and plaid flannel lining. I enjoyed it so much, I had to buy one (in gray) for my bff as a birthday present!
I featured these lace up shoes (in powder blue) in a previous post, but I loved the design so much I purchased another pair in coral, another beautifully spring and summertime hue. They’re affordable and adorable with its fabric eyelet design.
