Pink Accents with a Gray Tee and White Cropped Pants

When you pair together some crisp white jeans and a cozy tee, it makes a perfect foundation for a sunny day’s look; the intersection of comfy and cute!  White jeans are the quintessential summer pant, but for the longest time, I’ve shied away from them (for obvious reasons).  However I’ve recently decided that even the high-maintenance and careful-undergarment-selection factors are worth it for the classic and balanced vibe that a pair of white jeans bring to the table—and I’m digging the folded-cuff crop look, courtesy of loft.  Seriously, these pants go well with everything!  

 And continuing my love for grays and comfort, this linen striped tee is a perfect summer essential.  Lightweight, simple in sight, and a great base for any statement peices.  In this case, I went for a statement color: neon pink! I picked up the gray and pink scarf from loft during one of their crazy 70% sales.  Layered on top of the striped gray tee, it provides a complimenting gray and some fun pop of color!  And to bring it all together… yes, I had to go with these colorful eyelet canvas shoes!  It’s a slightly more muted pinkish-coral (in comparison to neon) and I’ve really come to love them.  An unassuming, low-price purchase from Payless, I’m pleased to say this has made it into my official summer shoe rotation; thankfully so, as the sneaks do so well to tie the whole look together!

PS: the eyelet sneaks (another color featured here) are on clearence for $10 a pair!  What a steal… I may just have to grab a few more colors, hmm.
