I’ve been behind on posts lately. It’s been busy with work and travel, but there’s plenty to share and hopefully I stick to a better post routine! I’ve assembled here some of my more recent sale finds BR and Loft (both of which tend to have 40-60% off sales very frequently, a bittersweet reality for my wallet).
This necklace (which I first featured in a business casual look) now makes a regular appearance in my daily wear–it’s bright, beautiful, and extremely versatile! It pairs so well with collard shirts, like this midnight blue chiffon-like utility blouse that I picked up from Loft with petite sizing! Also, an easy way to add a casual feel to any long-sleeved collared shirt is to neatly roll up the sleeves; this one made it easy as there were built-in button straps at the elbow.
Longer length skirts are perfect for the winter-to-summer ambient temperature transition; they provide the freedom and breeziness typical of a skirt, in addition to some extra leg protection from the chilly mornings and evenings. This ivory-colored skirt is a great spring and summer color (as are other bright and light colors) and adds an aura of freshness to any outfit!
Happy styling and thanks for reading! I’d love to hear what you think of this outfit, so please feel free to comment below. See you soon with more looks and recipes soon to follow!
