April showers bring May flowers. Or so the saying goes. I’m crossing my fingers and hoping it stays to true it’s word as this month has been filled with some dreary days (like today for one!).
I’m already looking forward to dressing up in one of my favorite styles of clothing: the romper. Oh so chic, comfortable, and summer-ready, I love how this article of clothing does so well with so many different body types! For my fellow petites, rompers have the effect of elongating our shorter torsos, and really extends the look of petite legs!
I’m also digging this floral pattern and skort*-like touch on this romper from Lucy Paris. It’s a perfect reminder of spring! Oh, and it also features some serious plunge V-neck, which is great for those with well endowed chests; as for me, I threaded a silver safety pin to keep the V neck from revealing a little too much! But this romper also features a cutout back… and pockets! A woman’s dream, am I right?
For a less dramatic look, I paired it with a few white accessories—a trusted white crop top, a pendant necklace, and d’orsay flats. And now we’re ready to usher in May!
With the longer days and warmer weather officially settling in, what’s the outdoor activity that you’re looking forward to bringing into your schedule more? For me it’s outdoor dining; something I would never have done as a kid (because I thought it was “dirty”) but now love! Thanks for dropping by :) Your thoughts and comments are always welcome!
