I feel like I’m on a posting streak… it’s not about to end just yet! And I also can’t believe how unbelievably awesome the Northeastern weather has been this November thus far *knocks on wood*! All this good news calls for a good outfit, especially one in time for the Thanksgiving festivities quickly approaching next week!
As you probably all know by now since I’ve gone out of my way to point it out numerous times before, I’m all for comfort. And when comfort meets cute and functional, I’ve struck gold! That’s exactly how I feel when I throw this outfit on! It’s so simple, yet looks perfectly put-together for a casual yet polished holiday gathering! I call it “smart casual”—I’m sure it’s a thing. I’ve had this striking Merino wool drapey cardigan for few years now, and I’m constantly amazed at how well the drapey silhouette really compliments any body type. It just does! The contrasting black stripe also does so well with a complimentary black-on-black base. I even whipped out a turtleneck to highlight the cardi-collar and the tiered gold necklace accent.
Also, I’m so happy that I’m finally out of that ankle brace and can finally wear knee-high boots again! Anyway, check back in soon! I’ll have even MORE recipes, both fall and winter inspired, and even a few crafting and decor ideas! :)
