There’s a pattern here, and I hope it doesn’t seem like too much of a broken record. But as someone who would rather flaunt a flowy skirt than a pair of pants in warmer weather, I’d like to continue sharing my wardrobe favorites!
This black chiffon maxi is so simple, and yet so elegant. It was an affordable purchase from Old Navy last year and has served me well as a reliable go-to piece ever since. It’s made of a gorgeous chiffon material, with a heavier lining underneath, to provide just enough weight and protection from those cool and breezier spring and summer days.
I love how easily the skirt can be dressed up—you can never go wrong with a black-and-white ensemble with a pair of pearl earrings. It’s a timeless recipe for an ever classic look! I played down the jewelry, too, opting for nothing more than a small and simple pendant necklace. It’s a subtle touch, not an accent piece, which is why it’s a bit difficult to find it in most of these pictures. But the simple rose gold necklace, with its diamond heart pendant, works to elevate and “maturify” (is that a word?) the outfit.

It also seems like this flowy racerback top and strappy D’Orsay pumps have been making several appearances since I got them not too long ago; their versatility are definitely signs of a good purchase!
