In New York, the first day of spring was marked with a light snowfall. As mild as this winter was, it seems to not want to loosen its grasp! Luckily the sun is projected to peek around the clouds and warmer days are ahead. And warmer days means lighter layers, bare legs, and sandals!
I was never all that much a fan of floral patterns growing up. I constantly rejected any article of clothing that my mom selected for me if there was even any remote trace of a floral pattern–so much as a tiny flower and it was OUT! It’s funny how opinions change (like how I now love tomatoes) and now I find myself drawn to soft florals and pale pinks this time of year. It’s a very seasonal hue; in the spirit of Easter and the budding flowers of spring!
For my premier spring outfit, I’ve gone with a selection of classics: soft floral midi with pale pink tank, patent heeled sandals, pearl accents, classic white clutch. All the pieces come together for a truly fresh look that works well for Easter service, and clear through brunch and beyond! Here’s to wishing everyone a wonderful and warm start of spring and Happy Easter!
