I’ve been partial to Nine West pumps recently, procuring two new pairs in a span of a couple weeks! Not without reason, however; I’ve found this brand to be reliable (great quality and consistent sizing) and affordable (won’t break the bank!) making it a winning combination. Plus, their shoes look great! So, I’ve decided I should dedicate a quick post to my four go-to pointed-toe pairs.
1. Classic Nude Patent Pumps | Martina
The classic pointed-toe pump that never goes out of style—these shoes look both modernly chic, as well as timelessly elegant; you can have it both ways! I owned a previous nude patent pair from Nine West that I finally retired after three years of dedicated service, to be replaced by this updated pair. They are just as well-fitted and well-constructed, and pretty as the ones that preceded. These have continued to be my primary at-work, business shoe (they reside under my desk, hence the differing flooring pictures) and have yet to fail me.

2. Ruby Red Ankle Strap | Prepschool
During the holidays, I spent a solid week or two browsing for a pair red holiday heels both in stores and online. I had a budget (since Christmas can be an expensive time of year) which sadly prevented me from splurging on any Louboutin’s. I also really wanted an ankle strap and D’Orsay cutouts. I ultimately found these for a great price (sub $40 incl tax/shipping) and being a sucker for a good deal, I bit. The festively unique ankle strap makes them perfect for a party or a night out, with the advantage of having the comfort and support of a full vamp.

3. Black Patent D’Orsay Pumps | Camelle
I’d been after a pair of black D’Orsay pumps for some time, and since the red D’Orsay heels never came to fruition, I was on a mission. I’d never sought after black patent leather (I like to reserve patent for creamy, neutral shades), but these pair of Nine West heels caught my eye and I haven’t looked back. This was the shoe that confirmed my Nine West fandom, sleek and dressy with also an air of professionalism. While I admit they were a bit on the looser-fitting side for what I’m used to in their sizes, the skinny ankle strap keeps the heel in place. Perhaps the one downside, or upside depending on your preference, is that these pumps have a softer heel click when walking; I personally enjoy hearing the sound of heels against hard flooring but that could just be me!

4. White Strappy D’Orsay Pumps | Tornaydo
Welcome my newest and perhaps favorite pair of my Nine West collection! I had a personal dilemma when deciding to make this purchase. I knew I wanted (needed?) a nice pair of white pumps for the spring and summer months; something simple, but also fun and versatile. This pair fit the bill! Two horizontal straps, connected by the single vertical works to provide a unique and clean design, but also visually elongates petite legs! These were perfect for an Easter outfit, and will continue to be in regular rotation for the spring and summer days (in office and out) and the season’s weddings ahead! Talk about versatility!

I promise I was not solicited or incentivized to promote Nine West! I just happen to think it’s a reliable brand that delivers beautiful and well-made shoes that fits the budget :)
Are there any brands, shoes or otherwise, that you swear by? Thanks for stopping by!
