Spring weather is upon us and the snow is finally melting! I’m embracing the last days of sweater weather with light layers, perfect for crisp-air days.
This outfit makes me feel so learned and knowledgable; I called it my “librarian” look at one point—a casual approach to smart casual! I love the chestnut brown colors and the paired colors of the sweater and boots. These chestnut leather Franco Sarto are one of my favorite boots, and the scratchy texture of the sweater adds just enough contrast to complete the look. I added a light button up blouse layer underneath, collar sleeves and shirt-tail peeping out for a relaxed vibe. This can also easily work with a light chambray!
Old Navy sweater (sale in black), Ann Taylor striped blouse (old, chambray-stripes), AEO skinny jeans, Franco Sarto Clint boots (old, :( hard to find now), costume faux pearls
As always, thank you so much for stopping by! Would love to hear your thoughts and please visit again soon for some Pi Day (yay for 3.1415!), St. Patrick’s Day, and Macaron Day (March 20) inspired treats in the coming week!
